Persicaria bistorta

Persicaria bistorta is a charming perennial that brings soft, bottlebrush style pink flower spikes to the garden from late spring into early autumn. Its gentle colouring and upright blooms create a relaxed, natural feel that suits cottage gardens, wildlife friendly spaces, and informal planting schemes. The fresh green foliage forms a neat clump at the base, giving the plant a tidy presence even when its not in flower.

Hard working and easy to grow, this non invasive ornamental Knotweed thrives in moist, well drained soil and copes well with a range of conditions, bringing gentle structure and a natural, relaxed feel to borders and containers. Supplied garden ready, it establishes quickly and develops into a graceful clump that adds movement and interest from summer into autumn.
