Hosta ‘Atlantis’ – 2026

Hosta ‘Atlantis’ is a striking perennial valued for its bold variegated foliage. The large, corrugated leaves feature deep green centres with wide, irregular golden-yellow margins, creating a dramatic clump that brightens shaded areas. In midsummer, tall scapes of pale lavender flowers rise above the mound, providing a soft contrast to the strong foliage and attracting pollinators.

It thrives in partial to full shade, preferring moist, well-drained soil, and is a reliable, hardy choice for UK gardens. With its vigorous growth and striking colouring, ‘Atlantis’ works beautifully as a focal point in shady borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen container plant. Its bold habit and contrasting tones add structure and seasonal interest, while requiring little maintenance once established.
