Hosta ‘Xanadu’ is a compact, clump-forming perennial that forms a dense mound of foliage. The leaves are narrow, wavy, and tapering, with a blue-green centre and wide, creamy yellow margins that mature to creamy white as the season progresses. In late summer, it produces lavender flowers on tall scapes, adding vertical interest to shaded garden spaces.

This cultivar is a hybrid developed by Dr. James Wilkins and is known for its vigorous growth and attractive variegation. It thrives in moist, well-drained soils and performs best in partial to full shade, making it an excellent choice for ground cover, borders, or containers. Its low-maintenance nature and striking appearance make it a standout in shaded areas.
