Geranium ‘Orion’ – 2026

Geranium ‘Orion’ is a hardy, perennial plant celebrated for its deep violet-blue flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer, forming an abundant and striking display over a long season. The wide, saucer-shaped blooms are carried above finely divided, bright green foliage that forms a neat, compact mound, adding both structure and texture to borders, rockeries, or container plantings. Its long-lasting flowers attract bees and other pollinators, enhancing garden biodiversity while providing continuous visual interest. The versatile growth habit and vivid flower colour make it a standout choice for cottage gardens, mixed borders, or naturalistic plantings.

Thriving in full sun to partial shade with well-drained soil, Geranium ‘Orion’ is hardy and low-maintenance. It tolerates a variety of soil conditions, and occasional removal of spent flowers encourages fresh foliage and can extend flowering. Its combination of vibrant, long-lasting blooms, lush foliage, and pollinator-friendly flowers makes Geranium ‘Orion’ a reliable and rewarding addition to any garden scheme.
