Hosta ‘Swamp Thing’ – 2026

Hosta ‘Swamp Thing’ is a striking perennial renowned for its bold, variegated foliage and refined habit. The large, glossy leaves are dark green with wide yellow margins, forming a dense mound that adds texture and colour to shaded or partially shaded gardens. In mid to late summer, tall scapes emerge carrying deep purple flowers, providing vertical interest and attracting pollinators.

This cultivar thrives in moist, fertile, well-drained soil and prefers partial shade to full shade. Resistant to verticillium wilt and low-maintenance once established, it is excellent for borders, woodland gardens, or as a specimen plant where its striking foliage can be appreciated.
