AGAVE ATROVIRENS

Agave atrovirens is a striking, large evergreen succulent known for its impressive grey-green rosettes of broad, fleshy leaves that form a dense, architectural shape. This species, originating from Concepcin del Oro in Zacatecas, Mexico, thrives at high altitudes around 3,000 meters.

It is sometimes referred to by its synonym, Agave macroculmis. The plant is well-adapted to arid environments and is prized for its dramatic appearance in landscape design, often serving as a focal point. Its robust structure and resilience make it a popular choice for xeriscaping.
