Achillea filipendulina – 2026

Achillea filipendulina is a robust perennial known for its large, flat-topped clusters of bright golden-yellow flowers that bloom throughout summer. Rising above a mound of finely divided, aromatic grey-green foliage, the blooms create a strong architectural feature in the garden. This variety is ideal for adding height and long-lasting colour to mixed borders, prairie-style plantings, and sunny beds, while also being excellent for cutting and drying.

Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, Achillea filipendulina is hardy, drought-tolerant once established, and low-maintenance. It attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing garden biodiversity. Its striking blooms, reliable performance, and bold foliage make it a standout choice for both ornamental and practical purposes in the garden.
