Alcea rosea mixture – 2026

Alcea rosea mixture is a hardy biennial or short-lived perennial valued for its tall spikes of large, single or double flowers in a variety of colours that bloom from mid to late summer. The upright growth habit and vibrant blooms create a striking vertical feature in borders, cottage gardens, or against walls and fences. Its flowers attract bees and other pollinators, providing both colour and ecological value.

Thriving in full sun with well-drained soil, Alcea rosea mixture is relatively low-maintenance and may benefit from staking in exposed positions. The combination of architectural height, long-lasting blooms, and pollinator-friendly flowers makes it a visually appealing and versatile addition to perennial and mixed borders.
