Allium ‘In Orbit’ – 2026

Allium ‘In Orbit’ is a striking ornamental onion cultivar known for its large, spherical heads of soft pink flowers that hover gracefully above slender stems, creating a dramatic architectural feature in summer borders. Blooming in mid to late summer, the abundant, rounded flower heads attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing garden biodiversity while providing long-lasting colour. Its clumps of narrow, arching leaves form a neat base, making it suitable for both formal and naturalistic plantings. Easy to grow from bulbs, this variety is low-maintenance and can be left undisturbed to naturalise, offering multi-year displays with minimal care. Its combination of bold floral structure and subtle pink tones adds visual interest and height to mixed borders, rockeries, and container gardens.
