Aster ‘Prof. Anton Kippenberg’ – 2026

Aster ‘Prof. Anton Kippenberg’ is a striking perennial cultivar renowned for its vivid violet-blue, daisy-like flowers with bright yellow centres that bloom from late summer into autumn. The upright, clump-forming plant features dark green foliage, providing a bold contrast that highlights the rich flower colour and adds structure to borders, cottage gardens, and mixed perennial beds. Its nectar-rich blooms attract bees and butterflies, supporting pollinators while extending seasonal interest when many other flowers are fading. Hardy and easy to grow, ‘Prof. Anton Kippenberg’ thrives in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Regular deadheading encourages prolonged flowering and helps maintain a tidy, healthy appearance, making it a reliable choice for long-lasting late-season colour.
