Astilbe arendsii ‘Close Harmony’ – 2026

Astilbe arendsii ‘Close Harmony’ is a hardy perennial admired for its delicate pink, plume-like flowers that bloom from mid to late summer. The finely divided, dark green foliage forms upright clumps, providing structure and year-round interest in borders, woodland gardens, or naturalistic plantings. Its flowers attract bees and other pollinators, adding both colour and ecological value.

Thriving in partial shade to full shade with moist, well-drained soil, ‘Close Harmony’ is low-maintenance and tolerant of a variety of garden conditions. The combination of architectural foliage, long-lasting blooms, and pollinator-friendly flowers makes it a versatile and visually appealing addition to perennial borders, mixed plantings, or shaded garden areas.
