Astilbe arendsii ‘Razzle Dazzle’ – 2026

Astilbe arendsii ‘Razzle Dazzle’ is a vibrant perennial prized for its upright plumes of bright pink flowers that bloom in midsummer above lush, finely divided green foliage. Its feathery flower spikes create a lively, textured display, adding colour and vertical interest to shaded borders, woodland gardens, or pondside plantings. The long-lasting blooms and ornamental foliage provide continuous visual appeal, making it ideal for group plantings or mixed perennial borders.

Thriving in humus-rich, consistently moist soil, it prefers partial to full shade and benefits from regular watering during dry periods. Low-maintenance and reliable, ‘Razzle Dazzle’ requires only cutting back spent stems after flowering and occasional mulching to retain soil moisture. Its nectar-rich blooms attract pollinators, enhancing both ornamental and ecological value in shaded garden spaces.
