Blue Tit Plum

Blue Tit Plum is a compact and productive deciduous tree, valued for its small, sweet, deep purple fruits and ornamental spring blossoms. In early spring it produces delicate pink flowers that attract pollinators, followed by small plums in late summer ideal for fresh eating, cooking, or preserves. Its dense, bushy habit provides shelter for birds and beneficial insects, making it a great choice for wildlife-friendly gardens as well as productive orchard spaces.

Well suited to UK conditions, Blue Tit Plum thrives in fertile, well-drained soils with full sun to partial shade. It is hardy, low maintenance, and responds well to light pruning to maintain shape and encourage healthy fruiting. This variety combines ornamental, ecological, and culinary value, providing seasonal interest and a reliable harvest of tasty fruit.
