Coreopsis ‘Sunkiss’

Coreopsis Sunkiss is a vibrant, neat architectural tickseed that explodes into a tight mound of bright golden-yellow flowers, each marked with a stunning dark burgundy centre. It is an essential, highly valuable late-season nectar source that maintains a brilliant, disciplined structure at the absolute front edge of the border, pulling in massive numbers of butterflies.

To prevent the crown from turning to mush, you must amend the planting hole with plenty of sharp grit to guarantee instant water runoff, as it despises heavy earth. Treat it mean to keep it keen; if you constantly drench the soil, the plant will rapidly lose its structural discipline and become a sprawling mess. You must relentlessly deadhead the fading blooms and apply a thick, dry mulch over its shallow roots to guarantee its survival through icy, wet winters.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
