Geranium phaeum ‘Album’ – 2026

Geranium phaeum ‘Album’ is a hardy, perennial plant prized for its pure white flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer, offering a soft, elegant contrast in shaded or semi-shaded garden areas. The saucer-shaped blooms rise above deeply lobed, medium-green foliage that forms a dense, clump-forming habit, providing structure, texture, and year-round visual interest. This variety is particularly suited to woodland gardens, shaded borders, and naturalistic plantings, and its flowers attract pollinators, supporting garden biodiversity.

Thriving in partial shade to full shade with moist, well-drained soil, Geranium phaeum ‘Album’ is hardy, low-maintenance, and adaptable to a range of soil types. Occasional removal of spent flowers encourages fresh foliage and maintains a tidy appearance. Its combination of delicate blooms, lush foliage, and pollinator-friendly attributes makes it a reliable and versatile choice for shaded or semi-shaded gardens.
