Geranium pratense ‘Laura’ – 2026

Geranium pratense ‘Laura’ is a refined and elegant perennial that brings a touch of sophistication to borders, cottage gardens, and shaded woodland areas. This cultivar is known for its unique double white flowers, which are relatively rare among hardy geraniums. The blooms are held above deeply divided, mid-green foliage, creating a striking contrast. Flowering begins in late spring and continues into summer, providing extended visual interest.

‘Laura’ is a low-maintenance plant that thrives in moist, well-drained soil and prefers partial to full shade. It is fully hardy and can withstand a range of soil types, including neutral to alkaline conditions. Regular deadheading can encourage prolonged flowering, and the plant’s dense foliage helps suppress weeds. This cultivar is also known for its resistance to pests and diseases, making it a reliable and attractive addition to shaded garden spaces.
