Helenium ‘Loysder Wieck’ – 2026

Helenium ‘Loysder Wieck’ is a hardy perennial admired for its rich red daisy-like flowers with golden centres that bloom from midsummer into autumn, providing a long-lasting and dramatic display. The upright blooms rise above clumps of bright green foliage, adding structure, texture, and vibrant colour to borders, cottage gardens, and mixed perennial plantings. Its flowers attract bees and butterflies, enhancing both ornamental and ecological value.

Thriving in full sun with moist, fertile, well-drained soil, Helenium ‘Loysder Wieck’ is low-maintenance and easy to grow. Deadheading spent flowers encourages prolonged flowering, while cutting back in spring maintains compact and healthy growth. Hardy and resilient, this cultivar delivers bold late-summer to autumn colour and pairs well with ornamental grasses or other late-flowering perennials.
