Helleborus orientalis ‘White Spotted’ – 2026

Helleborus orientalis White Spotted is an elegant perennial valued for its striking white flowers adorned with speckled markings, which appear in late winter through to spring. The nodding blooms provide a welcome splash of brightness at a time when gardens are often bare, and they contrast beautifully with the dark evergreen foliage that maintains year-round structure. Its long-lasting flowers add ornamental charm and are well suited to borders, woodland gardens, or shaded areas.

Adaptable and robust, this variety thrives in partial shade and prefers fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. It benefits from the removal of older leaves in winter to highlight the new seasons blooms. Once established it is low-maintenance and resilient, offering reliable flowering while also supporting early pollinators in the garden.
