Hemerocallis ‘Always Liberty’ – 2026

Hemerocallis ‘Always Liberty’ is a bold and striking daylily with large, vibrant red blooms that stand out dramatically against its clumps of green, strap-like foliage. Flowering freely in midsummer, the trumpet-shaped flowers provide a strong splash of colour in borders, cottage gardens, or mixed perennial plantings. Its long-lasting and nectar-rich flowers also attract bees and butterflies, making it both a decorative and wildlife-friendly choice.

This cultivar grows best in full sun to partial shade, thriving in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. Hardy and undemanding, it is easy to grow and requires only light maintenance, such as deadheading spent blooms and dividing congested clumps every few years. With its bold colouring, strong form, and reliability, Hemerocallis ‘Always Liberty’ brings seasonal impact and resilience to a wide range of garden settings.
