Hemerocallis ‘Daring Dilemma’ – 2026

Hemerocallis ‘Daring Dilemma’ is a charming daylily cultivar known for its soft, creamy pink flowers accented with a bold plum eyezone and matching picotee edge. The blooms, measuring approximately 13 cm across, are slightly ruffled, adding a delicate texture to their appearance. This semi-evergreen, tetraploid variety, introduced in 1992, forms clumps of arching, strap-like green leaves that provide a graceful backdrop to its striking flowers. It is a mid-season bloomer, typically flowering in mid-July.

This cultivar thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and can withstand summer heat. ‘Daring Dilemma’s’ combination of graceful blooms and attractive foliage makes it a versatile and charming addition to decorative or naturalistic garden plantings.
