Hosta 8217Fragrant Dream8217 8211 2026

Hosta \’Fragrant Dream\’ is a medium-sized perennial that forms a dense, mound-shaped clump of heart-shaped, dark green leaves with narrow yellow margins that fade to white as the season progresses. This cultivar is a sport of H. \’Fragrant Bouquet\’ and is appreciated for its ornamental value and adaptability to shaded garden settings.

In mid to late summer, \’Fragrant Dream\’ produces tall scapes bearing racemes of large, near-white, fragrant flowers. These blooms rise above the foliage, adding vertical interest and attracting pollinators. The plant thrives in moist, well-drained soils and prefers partial to full shade, making it an excellent choice for woodland gardens or shaded borders. Its ability to tolerate some sun, provided adequate moisture is maintained, adds to its versatility in the landscape.
