Hosta 8217Wolverine8217 8211 2026

Hosta \’Wolverine\’ is a medium-sized perennial that forms a dense, cascading mound of foliage. The leaves are narrow, wavy, and tapering, with a blue-green centre and wide, creamy yellow margins that mature to creamy white as the season progresses. In late summer, it produces lavender flowers on tall scapes, adding vertical interest to shaded garden spaces.

This cultivar is a hybrid developed by Dr. James Wilkins and is known for its vigorous growth and rapid multiplication, making it an excellent choice for ground cover, borders, or containers. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and performs best in partial to full shade, providing low-maintenance visual impact throughout the growing season.
