Hosta ‘Firn Line’ – 2026

Hosta ‘Firn Line’ is a striking perennial that forms a compact, mound-forming clump of heart-shaped leaves. The foliage features a blue-green centre with wide, creamy-yellow margins that quickly turn white as the growing season progresses, creating a bold contrast that adds visual interest to shaded garden areas. The leaves are thick and have a slightly waxy texture, enhancing their ornamental appeal.

In mid to late summer, ‘Firn Line’ produces tall scapes adorned with clusters of pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers, adding vertical interest and attracting pollinators. This cultivar thrives in moist, well-drained soils and prefers partial to full shade. It is relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal care to thrive and provide year-round interest in the garden.
