Hosta fortunei ‘Inspiration’ – 2026

Hosta fortunei ‘Inspiration’ is a medium-sized perennial that forms a dense, mound-shaped clump of heart-shaped leaves. Its foliage emerges a soft, creamy yellow and matures to a rich, golden yellow with dark green margins, creating a striking contrast. This cultivar is appreciated for its vibrant color and adaptability to shaded garden settings.

In mid to late summer, ‘Inspiration’ produces tall scapes bearing racemes of funnel-shaped, pale lavender flowers. These blooms rise above the foliage, adding vertical interest and attracting pollinators. The plant thrives in moist, well-drained soils and prefers partial to full shade, making it an excellent choice for woodland gardens or shaded borders.
