Hosta ‘Inniswood’ – 2026

Hosta ‘Inniswood’ is a striking perennial that adds a splash of colour and texture to shaded garden spaces. This cultivar features large, heart-shaped leaves with a bright gold centre and a narrow dark green margin, creating a bold contrast that stands out in any landscape. The leaves are heavily corrugated and slightly cupped, adding visual interest and a textured appearance to the plant. In shadier conditions, the clump will be chartreuse with a green margin, offering versatility in various lighting situations.

In late spring, ‘Inniswood’ produces tall scapes adorned with pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers that attract pollinators like hummingbirds and butterflies. This hosta thrives in moist, well-drained, organically rich soil and prefers partial to full shade, though it can tolerate some morning sun. Once established, it is relatively low-maintenance and offers excellent slug resistance due to its thick, textured leaves. ‘Inniswood’ is a versatile and dependable perennial that adds both visual appeal and ecological value to shaded areas.
