Hosta ‘Lakeside Dragonfly’ – 2026

Hosta ‘Lakeside Dragonfly’ is a striking perennial that adds dynamic texture and color to shaded garden spaces. This cultivar features narrow, lance-shaped leaves with deep green centers and broad, creamy white margins that mature to lemon yellow as the season progresses. The foliage forms a compact mound, making it an excellent choice for borders, woodland gardens, or containers.

In mid to late summer, ‘Lakeside Dragonfly’ produces tall scapes adorned with pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers that rise above the foliage, attracting pollinators such as hummingbirds. This hosta thrives in moist, well-drained, organically rich soil and prefers partial to full shade. Once established, it is relatively low-maintenance and offers excellent slug resistance due to its thick, textured leaves. ‘Lakeside Dragonfly’ is a versatile and dependable perennial that adds both visual appeal and ecological value to shaded areas.
