Hosta ‘Winter Snow’ – 2026

Hosta ‘Winter Snow’ is a large, clump-forming perennial that forms a dense, mound of glossy, heart-shaped leaves. The foliage is bright chartreuse with wide, irregular white margins that become more pronounced as the season progresses. In mid to late summer, it produces tall spikes of pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers that rise above the foliage, adding vertical interest to shaded garden spaces.

This cultivar is a sport of the popular ‘Sum and Substance’ hosta, selected for its striking white-edged foliage and vigorous growth habit. It thrives in moist, well-drained soils and performs best in partial to full shade, making it ideal for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or as a specimen plant in containers.
