Iris germanica ‘Lemon Pop’ – 2026

Iris germanica ‘Lemon Pop’ is an intermediate bearded iris cultivar introduced by Larry Lauer in 1989. It features cheerful lemon yellow flowers with a white beard tipped in yellow, creating a vibrant and uplifting display in the garden. The blooms have a delicate ruffled texture and a pleasing fragrance that adds sensory appeal. This iris is an early-season bloomer, providing bright colour when many other plants are just emerging. It is ideal for borders, rock gardens, or containers, bringing a sunny and lively touch to any garden setting.

Beyond its ornamental value, ‘Lemon Pop’ attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies, supporting ecological diversity. It thrives in well-drained soil and prefers full sun, making it resilient and adaptable to a variety of garden conditions. Its vivid blooms, reliability, and charm make it a popular choice for gardeners seeking to brighten their landscapes with a cheerful, eye-catching addition.
