Iris sibirica ‘Having Fun’ – 2026

Iris sibirica ‘Having Fun’ is a lively Siberian iris that brings vibrant colour and energy to the garden. Its blooms are soft lavender-blue with lightly ruffled petals and a prominent golden-yellow signal at the base of the falls, creating a charming contrast. The upright clumps of slender green foliage provide structure and complement the airy, graceful flowers. Planted in groups, this variety produces a striking display that works beautifully in borders, naturalistic plantings, or near water features.

This hardy perennial thrives in moist but well-drained soils and prefers full sun to partial shade. Flowering in early to mid-summer, ‘Having Fun’ is valued for its resilience, low-maintenance growth, and reliability. Its blooms attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, enhancing the ecological value of the garden while providing long-lasting ornamental appeal.
