Kirengeshoma palmata – 2026

Kirengeshoma palmata, commonly known as yellow wax bells, is a graceful perennial that brings subtle charm and late-season interest to the garden. Its drooping, waxy, pale yellow bell-shaped flowers hang delicately from arching stems, creating an elegant and eye-catching display. The large, deeply lobed green foliage provides a lush backdrop and adds textural contrast, making this plant ideal for shaded borders or woodland-style plantings.

This shade-loving perennial thrives in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soils and prefers partial to full shade. Flowering in late summer to early autumn, Kirengeshoma palmata is valued for its low-maintenance growth and long-lasting visual appeal. Its blooms attract pollinators such as bees, enhancing the ecological value of shaded garden areas.
