Lagerstroemia indica Sioux Crepe Myrtle (Tree Form)

Lagerstroemia indica Sioux Crepe Myrtle is a showy, beautifully-shaped tree with masses of musk-pink flowers in summer, highly ornamental bark and brilliant autumn colour. When mature, the bark of this variety will peel, creating a mottled effect to reveal the beautiful caramel-pink colour of its underbark. The visual display is carried into autumn with leaves of vibrant tones of red, orange and yellow. Crepe Myrtle Sioux provides a stunning highlight to the garden during the whole year as a feature tree or mass planting for spectacular effect.
