Persicaria amplexicaulis ‘Orange Field’ – 2026

Persicaria amplexicaulis Orange Field is a striking perennial that produces tall, slender spikes of rosy-pink flowers from midsummer right through to autumn. Rising above large clumps of lush green foliage, the blooms bring soft yet vibrant colour to mixed borders and naturalistic planting schemes. The long flowering period makes it a reliable choice for late-season interest, while its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, boosting the ecological value of the garden.

This variety thrives in moist, fertile soil and grows best in full sun to partial shade. Hardy and resilient in the UK climate, it forms robust clumps that return year after year with very little maintenance, only needing to be cut back in late winter to encourage new spring growth. Persicaria amplexicaulis Orange Field offers lasting colour, wildlife appeal, and architectural presence, making it an excellent addition to both traditional and contemporary garden designs.
