Petunia Blue Basket Plants

The Petunia Blue is a classic, large-flowering variety that forms a dense, mat-forming blanket of sticky foliage and deep, rich, uninterrupted colour. It may release a very faint, sweet scent at dusk to attract moths, but it is primarily grown for its overwhelming daytime visual impact. It requires an acidic soil base to thrive and will be completely wiped out by the cold weather at the end of the season.

To properly fuel the continuous production of its massive, trumpet-shaped blooms, you must strictly adhere to a ‘normal’ watering regime. Feel the soil daily and provide a thorough, heavy soak the exact moment the top layer loses its damp texture. Keeping the root ball consistently satisfied with moisture ensures the trailing vines remain plump, green, and actively pushing outward.

Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves.
