Phlox paniculata ‘Katherine’ – 2026

Phlox paniculata ‘Katherine’ is a striking perennial that enchants with its bicoloured lavender-blue flowers, each featuring a white centre and darker purple eye. These fragrant blooms are borne in dense, rounded clusters atop upright stems, adding vertical interest and elegance to garden borders and mixed plantings. The plant’s compact stature and mildew resistance make it a low-maintenance choice for gardeners. Its late-season performance and refined appearance make it a valuable addition to cottage-style gardens and pollinator-friendly landscapes.

Thriving in fertile, well-drained soil, ‘Katherine’ prefers full sun to partial shade. Regular deadheading of spent flowers encourages continued blooming and helps maintain a tidy appearance. Phlox paniculata ‘Katherine’ combines aesthetic appeal with ecological value, attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies, making it a versatile and rewarding addition to UK gardens.
