Primula ‘Blue Zebra’ – 2026

Primula ‘Blue Zebra’ is a striking perennial with bold, bi-coloured flowers that feature vivid blue petals streaked with lighter veins, creating a zebra-like pattern. The blooms appear in spring, forming dense clusters above a rosette of fresh green foliage, providing both structure and colour to borders, containers, or woodland-style gardens. Its compact habit makes it ideal for front-of-border planting or mixed container displays. This cultivar is attractive to pollinators, including bees, and adds vibrant spring colour while complementing other early-season plants.

It thrives in partial shade to full shade in moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Low-maintenance once established, it benefits from regular watering during dry spells. Non-native to the UK, it offers long-lasting ornamental appeal and ecological value in garden settings.
