Primula ‘Dark Rosaleen’ – 2026

Primula ‘Dark Rosaleen’ is a charming perennial featuring clusters of rich, deep rose-pink flowers that bloom in spring above a neat rosette of fresh green foliage. The vibrant flowers create a striking display in borders, rockeries, or containers, adding colour and structure to spring gardens. Its compact habit makes it ideal for front-of-border planting or mixed container displays. This cultivar is attractive to pollinators, including bees, and adds ecological value while providing long-lasting ornamental interest.

It thrives in partial shade to full shade in moist, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. Low-maintenance once established, it benefits from regular watering during dry periods. Although non-native to the UK, it provides reliable spring colour and visual impact for a variety of garden settings.
