Ripston Pippin Apple

Ripston Pippin is a traditional English dessert apple variety prized for its sweet, aromatic flavour and attractive medium sized fruit. The tree develops a moderately vigorous, spreading habit with healthy green foliage and produces apples with yellow skin flushed with red. The flesh is crisp, juicy and pleasantly aromatic, making it ideal for fresh eating and light culinary use.

In spring, Ripston Pippin is covered in abundant white blossom that attracts bees and other pollinators, supporting garden biodiversity. It thrives in fertile, well drained soil and a sunny position, where fruit can fully develop flavour and colour. Well suited to UK gardens and allotments, Ripston Pippin combines ornamental appeal, ecological value and a reliable autumn harvest.
