If youre looking for a plant that packs a mountain of personality into a tiny footprint, the Tom Thumb Crassula is your new best friend. This charming succulent forms a compact, mounded carpet only 6 inches tall, featuring tiny, triangular leaves stacked like delicate pagodas that blush a brilliant red when kissed by the sun. It thrives in bright, direct sunlight to light shade, making it an ideal choice for rock gardens or those sunny “hell strips” where other plants might falter. Best of all, its thick, waxy leaves are naturally animal-resistant, as deer and rabbits typically bypass its sturdy texture in search of softer greens. Its a resilient, water-wise beauty that proves you dont need much space to make a big statement in your landscape. Plant it once, and youll marvel at how this little titan handles the elements with ease. Zone 9-11
