Victoria Plum

Victoria Plum is a vigorous and productive deciduous tree, prized for its medium to large, juicy, red-purple plums that ripen in mid to late summer. In spring it produces delicate, pale pink blossoms that attract pollinators, followed by sweet, flavoursome fruit ideal for fresh eating, cooking, or preserves. Its spreading, bushy habit provides shelter for birds and beneficial insects, making it a versatile choice for productive gardens, small orchards, or wildlife-friendly spaces.

Well suited to UK conditions, Victoria Plum thrives in fertile, well-drained soils with full sun exposure. It is hardy, relatively low maintenance, and responds well to light pruning to maintain shape and encourage strong fruiting. This variety combines ornamental, ecological, and culinary value, offering seasonal interest and a reliable harvest of high-quality plums.
